The 2018-19 men’s basketball season was clearly one fans would love to forget about and throw in the vault, never to be seen or thought of again.

Head coach Bob Huggins is hitting the recruiting trail hard to try and get West Virginia basketball back to the way it should be represented.

Today, Huggins received some good news as French guard Clarence Nadolny released his final three schools from which he will choose from. West Virginia will battle it out with Big 12 foes Iowa State and Texas Tech in attempt to land the talented guard.

At the moment, the Mountaineers signing class consists of point guard Miles McBride, who has been referred to as “the kid who’s lost one game in three years” by coach Huggins. Along McBride is big man Oscar Tshiebwe who is a consensus five star, McDonald’s All-American who is widely regarded as the nations top rebounder.

There’s no question that Huggins will need to add depth at the guard position as Beetle Bolden and Trey Doomes are set to transfer.

Nadolny is a quality guard that could produce quality minutes off the bench and earn himself a spot in the rotation. He is a tough-nosed guard that likes to be aggressive and attack the rim. His vision of the court is already at a high level and takes pretty good care of the ball.

Stay tuned to DubVNation for the latest on Nadolny’s recruitment.
