Nashville, TN – With the 121st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected West Virginia tight end Trevon Wesco.
Wesco wasn’t a big part of the offense in his time in Morgantown; however, he evolved into of the Mountaineers favorite targets in the back half of the 2018 season. His size and mobility, along with sealing off the edge, opened the eyes of a lot of franchises around the league.
Most of Wesco’s production came in his Senior season. Out of his 28 career receptions for 366 yards, 26 came in his senior year as a Mountaineer and 13 of those came the final four games for 200 yards.
